DC++

DC++ is a file sharing program used on LAN's.
It allows you to connect to a central hub running here on DunceLAN and then download what you want from anyone else on the hub.

It's very fast and supports continuing file downloads

You can download DC++ from the DunceServ FTP

Login information:

Once you have DC++ installed, add a new favourite and add the address as 'dunceserv'. Then connect and away you go. Double click any name and you will receive a file list of everything on share.

Sharing:

Enter the settings, by clicking the settings icon on the toolbar. In there you will find an option called sharing. Add some folders and DC++ will then 'hash' your files. Once hashed they will be viable to people requesting your file list and downloadable by them as well. This process can take a while to please bear with it :)
